We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team. This role presents a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to immerse themselves in our business and projects before taking on a leadership position.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Lead Software Engineer to lead our talented team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven leadership skills to drive the development of high-quality software products. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for both managerialduties and actively contributing to the technical aspects of the projects.
Responsibilities● Initially, actively participate in ongoing projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business processes and technical requirements● Assume a hands-on role to contribute to the technical aspects of projects● Develop a deep understanding of our business model, industry dynamics, and client needs to inform future technical strategies● Oversee the preparation for building and leading a high-performingengineering team, including identifying potential team members and defining roles● Assess and evaluate emerging technologies that align with our business objectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technical capabilities● Collaborate with global teams to gain insights into the organization's goals and operations
Requirements● MS/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields with strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures● 5+ years of full-time engineering experience.● 3+ years of professional engineering management experience● Programming experience and understanding of modern technology including: (ReactJS/React Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes, GCP, MongoDB, Docker)● Experience managing cloud operations for reliability, scalability, and security in GCP/AWS● Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion
